Ordnance Deformers
These machines are capable of deforming spent cartridges, up to and including 20mm, beyond the point of reuse. The deformer chamber contains M4 tool steel blocks hardened to specific Rockwell Scale. These are attached to a high speed revolving drum grinder. The patented hammers strike the brass casings as they pass through the deformer chamber, resulting in mechanical deformation meeting demilitarization requirements.
Stationary Expended Ordnance Deformer
This 50 HP Electric Drive Ordnance Deformer is capable of processing and deforming spent range cartridges up to and including 20MM brass beyond the point of reuse. The high speed rotary grinder contains M4 tool steel blocks harden to a specific Rockwell Scale. The patented hammers strike the brass cartridges as they pass through the deformers chamber, resulting in mechanical deformation of the brass effectively meeting the DLA 4160.21M demilitarization requirements.
